My name is Lewis. I am a 27 year old Scottish guy and Scottish traditional music is where my roots are. I sing, I write, I play piano, accordion and fiddle (in that order) although I am playing the accordion most just now due to its portability and versatility. My experience is in doing acoustic music however, I'm interested in experimentation in many genres. I put musicianship, craft and passion above any particular genre.
I have a few gigs in the works at the moment in World Music theatres. Sit down gigs, where you can really play for an audience that listens and everyone can become adsorbed in the moment of the performance. For these gigs I am looking to add to my lineup of vocals/piano or vocal/accordion (with a bit of fiddle) with a guitarist and a percussionist.
Aside from this, I am keen to collaborate or join forces with any other project that feels right, so please hit me up if you fancy trying it out.
