I am a groove Drummer / Musician. I play for the song and artist i'm working with. If you're looking for a drummer who is the glue that holds your band and music together, i'm your guy. I approach my place in the music mainly from a solid lay it down groove style of drumming. if the music dictates another approach I will go musically wherever I have to, to achieve what's necessary for the music / song. I can play Jazz but i'm not a Jazz drummer. I'm a backbeat groove drummer who plays for the song. Musically to me In most cases in popular music, less is more. I don't fu*k around. I'm a serious musician with many years of experience, Recording, Touring, Playing Clubs, Concert Halls, Arena's, Weddings, Private Parties and Shows.
My style is always evolving as well as my knowledge and discovery of new music and artists. I'm open to all that is new. My roots are in Classic Rock, RnB, Blues, Pop, Reggae, Latin & Jazz. The record albums pictured in my photo section best describes my style and the type of music i love most. These are also records that have most influenced my style and shaped my approach to my instrument. I wish I had more space on this site to add more photos and upload my Resume. I'll gladly forward that upon request.
If you want a flashy fast chops, speedy rolls and tons of fills kind of drummer, i'm not your guy. I play to make the music feel good. Groove like a motherfu*ker and give my bandmates space to do what they do best. I consider myself a musically mature musician, always with room to grow.
I'm looking for everything from a name band who's looking for a touring drummer, to a local band that wants to record and gig locally, i'm open to relocate if there's enough $$ involved, I'm also very interested in simply playing and being a band member to a Solo Artist / Singer Songwriter / Hired gun band member.
I like the sound of an arranged horn oriented band with killer vocals, but open to playing and making music with like minded musicians who are focused on truly making the best music possible in other group settings. I can read a drum chart, piano chord chart as a drummer, write music on a stave, or simply adlib and play from heart / off the cuff. I can improvise in any musical setting i'm familiar with. As a musician I consider myself an accompanist. Not a soloist. I also play keyboards and read music for piano / keyboard. I'm skilled at hand percussion and sing backup / harmony in a limited lower range. I create & write my own music and can transcribe music from pre-recorded sounds, and arrange it for multiple instruments in a popular band setting.
Making it clear. I'm not a Jazz drummer. I can play with a Jazz sensibility if the music calls for it. My sound and feel is most important to me in order for me to be able to give my best to the music and artist i'm working with. In order to join or be a part of any band or solo artist, I have to really like the music and have a partnership in the project, if there's no $$. I'm always available for hire of which case I'll play for the what the gig and artist / band dictates.
I am a Professional Musician. Socially band dynamics can be tricky. Through my many years of experience, I know how to navigate myself through many different types of social band dynamics & situations. I am very humble and easy to work with. The music comes first. I'm a no-nonsense, no- time wasting musician. Looking for like minded musicians, artists and bands I can contribute to, create & work with musically.

9 tracks faded up and down. Each is one a minute or less to give the listener a brief idea of what i sound like playing different music with different musicians in the studio and in live performance. 2 tracks were done in the studio as an over-dub, 5 tracks recorded live in the studio and 2 tracks heard at the very end were in live performance in a packed NYC nightclub. I have other recordings with other artists to share, upon request can forward to anyone considering me for your music / band.
