“Starch Monkey” is a juxtaposition of two elements of our lives: Work (Starch) and Play (Monkey), brought together as a five-piece rock n roll band. Back in the day, John Cougar and Bruce Springsteen represented the working man and spoke to the concept of working and living hard. So we thought that we should take our “Starch” lives (working for the man) and give ourselves more “Monkey” (Rock n Roll, the elixir of happiness). And we found that an awful lot of people needed a little more monkey in their lives, taking life too seriously and forgetting, sometimes, to live and enjoy life.
So, rock on Starch Monkey.
