Currently there are three of us (lead guitar, drums and lead vocalist/frontman) seeking three additional members to complete the lineup for a new band. The music style is primarily hard rock but we prefer to keep the songs more complex (overall) than your traditional mainstream rock arrangements. This means that we would still like to keep the songs catchy enough for radio play but at the same time we'd like to incorporate different tunings, different time signatures (not always) as well as have multiple parts to each song (not just repeating the exact same two parts over and over again and calling it a song). Although, we plan to write mostly hard rock songs, we will still write the occasional softer song when/where appropriate. In terms of live performances, we plan to play almost all original material with some covers (depending on the venue).
We are seeking a bassist, keyboard player and rhythm guitarist. One of the three would have to be able to sing and harmonize as a backing/secondary vocalist as well. If you can do any of the above and sing - that is a bonus! We practice out of livonia (roughly once a week) and are between the ages of 23 and 25. We prefer that you live within 30 minutes of our practice location and that you are close to our age range.
All of us have experience in writing, recording and performing with past bands and two of us have had our music aired on 89X and the WRIF. With this new band we intend to do all of the above and much more!
