50 yo bass player looking to start a band. I know, startups can suck but I figure instead of spending all this time looking for a band that I'm comfortable with I'd give this a go. Unfortunately since I live in an apartment I do not have rehearsal space, so hopefully someone interested has some.
I'm looking for a drug free set up playing classic rock covers along with the oddball kind of song. Basically as long as it sounds good and we all can play it, let's at least try it. The goal ultimately is to play out once or twice a month with weekly rehearsals. I want to have a set up where we show up for rehearsal knowing what we have to have ready, going through it, and building a library. It's music so it's fun, but that doesn't mean it shouldn't be taken seriously enough to be prepared.
