I play guitar in a band thats ready to go, that lacks only a drummer. We have a female lead singer in her 20's, that plays guitar, keyboards, and saxophone, and the bass player and myself (guitar) are in our 50's. We're playing a mix of older and newer rock, from 60's to present, and are able to play some different songs from some of the other bands due to our makeup. While we still play Beatles, and Stones, and Zepplin, and Floyd, we also do Blondie and the Pretenders, Joplin, Green Day, Foo Fighters, Stray Cats, and a bunch of others. We try not to do more than 2 songs by any single band. We have a set list practiced and ready to go, once we add a drummer. We have a dedicated practice facility in Seffner just north of I-4 with a drum kit set up on a riser, and a PA set up, all our amps and equipment stays there so it's real easy to just come and play with no set up or breakdown. We practice, and our looking to play, mainly on Saturday nights, and we are only looking to play out twice a month. We all have day jobs, and do this for fun - though we will be paid. If this is of interest to you, please let me know.
