I have a Bachelor's degree in music; being able to play all saxophones. Have experience in many styles including jazz, commercial, R & B, latin, concert band and classical. Studied jazz and improvisation with saxophonist John Payne (Van Morrison, Phoebe Snow, and Bonnie Raitt).I also teach saxophone privately, all levels in classical and jazz (including improvisation). I have taught in the public schools, as well as being hired as a saxophone clinician in the Charleston, South Carolina area. I am currently a member of the Charleston Wind Ensemble and the Charleston Saxophone Quartet. My playing experience in Charleston has also included freelancing in all music styles due to my sight-reading and improvisation abilities.

Influences
Jazz influences include, but not limited to Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Sonny Rollins, Dexter Gordon, Stan Getz, Michael Brecker, David Sanborn and Charlie Parker.
Classical influences include Sigurd Rascher and Marcel Mule.
Rock and blues influences include Blood, Sweat and Tears; Earth, Wind and Fire; Jimi Hendrix and Eric Clapton, and Carlos Santana.
EQUIPMENT
Tenor, alto and soprano saxophones. Also own a small PA system.
