Lead Guitar, Bass Guitar, Keyboard, Piano, Other.

I am a multi-instrumental musician, but my primary instrument is rhythm guitar and lead vocals. I currently have an original band in the start-up-ish phase, and would love to add the right pieces to get this thing off the ground and up on the stage. That being said, we are not rushing anything. I want to be damn sure the set is tight before putting it out there. The focus of this band is original music. For those not reading thoroughly, I will repeat.....this focus of this band, and our vision, is ORIGINAL music. (I love covers, and there is room for them. They are already established, and if done right, a lot of fun, but be warned, we often will spin covers a little differently than the originals.... Anyone can duplicate a song, we like to add our own take to them!)
Songwriting is a passion of mine, and I want nothing more than to put out music that I have written, with the members of my band. Everyone has the freedom to create their own pieces of the puzzle though, this is not a dictatorship. It does, however, require some committment. Look, I have a full time day job that demands a lot of my time, and so do the rest of the bandmembers. I also have a family, and being a good father is more important to me than anything. That being said, I still typically spend 2-3 or more hours a night practicing and writing. Band practice takes place, generally, once a week at my place in Greenfield, IN on a Saturday night, or Sunday afternoon/evening.

About the band.... as mentioned currently there is me, on guitar and vocals. A damn good drummer on a beautiful 4 piece kit, and another guitar player. We all have pro gear.
Our sound is hard to really define..... some things I have written sound country, some a little bluesy, some a little rock like..... Music in general inspires me, so I can’t seem to stay pigeon holed in any one specific genre. Which is a good thing....right????

Currently, we are really looking to add a bass player that can step right in and fill out the groove! Skill level honestly can be anywhere from intermediate to expert. There is time for an intermediate player to come in and learn on the fly, if you will.

A keyboard or piano player would be a good fit, as well. Again, skill level is intermediate and above.

There are absolutely no egos here, and I am not looking for any to join. I am looking for some good people that love music that want to hang out with other good people that love music, in order to make some good music that we love. If you can’t dig that, then you might want to keep looking. ????
