I play my guitar a lot, but I have not played with a band in years. I played lead guitar for five years in a church worship band in Texas, but since then I have not had much opportunity to play with others.
For the last 1 1/2 years I have been focusing almost exclusively on Gypsy Jazz music, spending enormous amounts of time trying to learn this exacting genre. I realize that while continuous learning is an imperative I really need collaboration with others to make music.
The screen name comes from when I had a National 'O' Resonator. I don't have it anymore, but I can play still play some slide.
