Classically trained (yeah, i know, but it's true). Music perf. major. Played in numerous big bands/jazz orchestras in and out of school; concert and symphonic bands in school, solo'd in front of thousands. Played, recorded and toured in a rock 'n roll band for 4+ yrs in the '80's). Into all music forms these days - except perhaps contemporary country pop, but you never know. I read. And I play by ear. Currently on hold through the pandemic with The Flatirons Jazz Orchestra (lead alto/president- we are a full jazz orchestra w/vocalist), William and the Romantics (lead tenor sax for a full big band +4 singers), The Tim Hill Combo (acoustic rock), Polka Folka, and lots of freelance stuff. I love and play New Mexican music (Cumbia!). Also, I produce (and mix and master) and engineer (with extensive mic collection; portable recording rig, years of experience, $$$ software, etc.), studio or remote recording.
