LEAD GUITARIST WANTED for ESTABLISHED BAND!

Hi! I’m Stephen. My band, ‘The BOOMERANGs,’ recently lost our lead guitarist & we’re on the lookout for a lead guitarist. YOU?

Do you LOVE playing lead guitar in a variety of genres?
We perform in most every genre including CLASSIC ROCK (Zeppelin, Santana, SRV, Petty …) POP (Michael Jackson, Bruno, Matchbox …), MOTOWN, FUNK, COUNTRY and REGGAE. Those who hire us LOVE the variety! Those attending LOVE (want) to dance … even in their chairs.

Do you sing lead or harmony vocals?
Well … that would be a bonus (but not required) cuz we do songs like 7 Bridges Road, Amie, Take it Easy, WITHOUT any pitch correction or harmonizers. To repeat … it’s o.k. if you don’t do much vocally. Priority 1 is lead guitar playing.

WE ARE the BOOMERANGS BAND!
- We perform 2 or 3 times/month … sometimes less … sometimes more especially when the weather is beautiful.
- We play at wineries, festivals- medium to large, weddings- rarely but it happens, private parties, bars (very rarely … but it happens).
- We are St. Louis-based musicians who’ve been around awhile. Love to perform!
- We have a ton of fun on and off stage. Known for entertaining guests & filling dance floors.

If you are an accomplished lead guitarist with some vocal ability who knows the value of weekly rehearsals and being well prepared for gigs, is a team player (yes really), and loves sharing the joy of music with audiences large and small as well as band mates … then we should talk!

Started as a guitarist so my top guitarists include Jimi Hendrix, Jimmy Page, Jeff Beck, Stephen Stills, Carlos Santana, Bonnie Raitt, etc. I am super big on solid vocals & harmonies so inspired by the Eagles, Bruno Mars, Michael, Smokey Robinson, Marvin Gaye, Joe Cocker, Books & Dunn, etc. etc.
