Sterling started playing drums at a tender early age of 11. His parents thought drums would be a good release for his bottled up energy.
Sterling has been playing live events since Jr High school & continues to today.
He has played and recorded different genres from punk rock, rock & roll, alternative, Americana, progressive, and jazz/fusion. And, has had the opportunity to play with great musicians, and some notable today.
Members of his bands “Big Ass Sandwich”, and “Johnny And The Tea Bags” coined a phrase that “Sterling just wants to rock”!
