SEEKING
Band to Join.ABOUT
Back in the 80s and 90s played electric guitar, and studied classical guitar in a university music program. I've been playing/practicing drums since early 2020. I've performed on the guitar--especially classical--countless times, but I have yet to play drums with other musicians.
I ended up going into software engineering), but I miss playing live music. My drumming interest seems to be pointing towards jazz-funk type of stuff (but I'm definitely not ready to play "real" jazz). Something off the beaten path could be interesting.
I might be persuaded to play acoustic or classical guitar if it is more than just strumming chords to accompany vocalists, but I'd really rather play drums--jamming, working through some classics, etc (understanding that I'm not the second coming of Peart or Bonham).
Yes, I can read music fluently (not at session musician level, I mean, those people are hardcore).
