ABOUT

I am an experienced and reliable drummer. Easy to work with. I've played with original bands, cover bands, one-off bands, and last minute fill-in work. I am currently a member of Monterey County Line, a Southern Country, Rock and Blues band. I'm also the house drummer for a weekly jam. I can play in the pocket or busy if required. I've done studio work and can play to a click. I can swing, but do not consider myself a traditional jazz player.

I'm willing to do fill-in work, recording projects and would consider theater work for the right production.

Influences

I generally try not to pigeonhole myself. I have been influenced by drummers and other musicians of all styles, learning bits and pieces from a wide range of players. Although not a comprehensive list, some of my favorite and most inspiring drummers are Neil Peart, Stewart Copeland, Todd Sucherman, Manu Katché, Steve Smith, Ringo Starr, Jeff Pocaro and Carter Beauford, but there are many many more. Everyone has something to offer; there are so many amazing players to learn from!
