ABOUT

Retired NASA guitarist.

I am mainly interested in fusion/smooth jazz but I realize that it is difficult to find players with my interest, so I am open to almost anything as long as it is challenging and well played. Acoustic or electric, duets or more. I am also interested in writing and doing different arraignments of tunes, maybe mixing genres.

I mostly play by ear and using chord sheets. I do my homework and learn my parts and improvise fairly well. I also have a supportive wife and plenty of time to put into something.

I received a call the other day from a drummer I used to play with a few years ago. He is very good and has an interest in doing fusion stuff as well, we played in a rock band for over 15 years.

Looking for older skilled players who really know their instrument.
