I sing and play guitar and bass. I'm tall and slimmish and possibly have decent stage presence.
I'm 66, have been playing off and on non-professionally since 1964. Don't have much stage experience but maybe enough to be cool as long as I've got my boys with me. I could go solo but... scary, especially in D.C.

Influences
Wide variety. Beatles, Byrds, Ventures, Hendrix, all the great British bands of the 60's and 70's. Ravi Shankar, Frank Sinatra, Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughn, Mel Torme. Most recently have been learning jazz rhythm styles but really want to get into a working rock band.

EQUIPMENT
Right now it's a work in progress. I had a Garrison acoustic and a Gibson ES-165 and Crate Limo amp. I had to sell the Gibson and amp and the Garrison got stolen along with everything else I owned about 2 years ago. I came into enough money to put things back together and recently bought a miswired Washburn acoustic/electric and am looking for a 6-string electric and an amp.
