Rhythm Guitar, Lead Guitar, Background Singer.

I'm in a hard rock band that just became fully formed in July 2019, and you can check us out at .killingthesilence. We are just starting out and have ideas for about 10 original songs. We have a female vocalist, lead guitarist, rhythm guitarist/background vocalist, bassist and me on the drums. We're in the beginning stages of putting together our first album, and we plan to gig locally in early 2020. We love to have fun, but we're pretty serious and have made some great progress already.

More info about me:
I've played off and on for 20 years on drumset, the first 5 of which were on an acoustic set virtually every day, and I played intermittently until 2018. I then decided to sell my electronic set and buy an acoustic drumset. I'm super psyched about being in a band, creating originals, and playing at gigs... something I should've done ages ago!!

Initially, for the first 4-5 years I was in jazz and pep bands at my high school as well as a garage band. I'm familiar with ska, rock, classic rock, alternative, metal, progressive metal, jazz, r&b, Latin, pop, and plenty of other styles. I was a music major for my first year of college, though not for drums, so I know and love quality music. I used to tour nationally and internationally in college in an orchestra. I've even played in several church bands, although I'm not super churchy.
