Coming out of semi-retirement, have been gigging on keyboards in an original band doing Americana styled original rock, Petty/Stones influenced recently. Played professionally for 20 years before taking 10 years off, so just getting back into the scene. Looking for something to have fun with, but still high quality. In earlier years played in cover bands (50 gigs/year), but of my later experience was in bands writing, performing and recording original material in the Boston club scene.
While most of my experience is on bass, I'm a competent keyboardist and guitarist with good equipment like to consider myself very musical and versatile. Would love to get to know local people to jam.

Roots in southern and classic rock, but broad influenchttps://www.bandmix.com/#es from early progressive (Rush, Kansas, et al), classic metal (Zep, AC/DC, BOC, Van Halen), folk (CSN&Y), early alternative (R.E.M.), some funk (Chili Peppers) contemporary acoustic, reggae and country. Have been involved in songwriting and arranging in several original bands. Like that part of being creative. Really like many genres and am more into creating a quality band, with quality sound in any number of places.
