ABOUT

I have been playing guitar for 45 years. I studied Jazz and Classical guitar as well as voice at Western Washington University and the University of Washington. I have performed as a lead and rhythm guitarist and vocalist in numerous rock, jazz, blues, soul and funk bands throughout the Northwest. In addition, I have performed as a tenor soloist and ensemble member with the Seattle Symphony Chorale, The Seattle Chamber Singers, Tacoma Symphony Chorale and the Northwest Repratory Singers. I have also performed in numerous full length musicals and operas. I currently direct the Choirs and Orchestra as well as teach a guitar class at Decatur High School in Federal Way. I have held that job for the last 22 years. At Decatur I have been the musical director and played and conducted in the pit for over 20 musicals. My ensembles and musical productions have been nominated and won numerous National awards. Despite my sophisticated musical pedigree...I am really a rock/Jazz/Blues/Soul/Funk guitar player singer at heart and alot of fun to play with.
