ABOUT

Played in Christian rock bands for 25 years (clubs, fairgrounds, theatres, race tracks, high schools, colleges). One pre-Petra band that recorded with John Schlitt. I am also a prolific song writer/co-writer, producer and arranger. Additionally I am now incorporating a classic rock/blues repertoire (Cream, Jimi Hendrix, Robin Tower, Led Zeppelin) as a side project to revisit those song arrangements and do them with a fresh take (male or female singer).

EQUIPMENT

1984 Elite (King's X) Fender Stratocaster, Lab and Gallien-Kruger amps. The Positive Grid Spark modeling system. Ambient, psychedelic and down tuning effects.
Note: The Ascension album recording was made before King's X and Groove Metal (credited with giving rise to Grunge and Nu-Metal afterward) became known and popular and was partly produced at that time to appeal to a radio friendly format, so my current guitar sound and song writing has changed. Though on the song "Tribulation Man" you can hear me using a down tuning effect.
