ABOUT

I believe my style is that of a solid, groove oriented, reliable timekeeper.
When covering tunes, I always learn from the original drummers live performances so that I can better understand the nuances. Nuances which almost always are much different sounding than that on the record.
From an original collaboration mind set, I feel I bring a unique feel and approach to time signatures, changes and Dynamics
Playing live it is most important to me that the band play incredibly dynamic together as a unit.
It is my goal to provide a powerful supportive dynamic undercurrent cognizant of all the other instruments progressions
Self taught, I do not read tablature but I do have a system of charting on my own . Once it is locked in my head it is there forever.
I played in an original band for the better part of 25 years which toured nationally from small indie labels to EMI and Enigma/ Capitol.
I can also work with a click track when necessary.
I've continued to improve as my play has seasoned over the years.
l feel my best is ahead.
I've been in limbo playing with some small projects over the past four or five years. Now, I have decided to step up my game again to find a killer band.
I would consider the right brick and mortar project but I am mostly looking for an opportunity with established original touring band.
A working G.B./Cover or soon to be working project that is looking for the seamless transition.
