Band to Join.ABOUT
I’m looking to bring more music and playing into my life, and I now have Wednesday and/or Thursday nights available to practice with a band or jam with other musicians. If it is a situation involving gigs, that can be any night or weekend day provided it isn’t more than 6 -12 times a year. I’m in it for fun at this time of my life. I’ve played guitar pretty much daily for most of my life but stopped the band situation about 20 years ago because of my non-music career. Would like to get back into playing with others as I wind down heading closer to retirement and am looking for like-minded musicians. It can be anything from a cover band situation to an instrumental jazzy/bluesy trio or more. I also enjoy doing fills and playing around a singer/songwriter--electric or acoustic. That has always been fun (but I’m not that good of a backup singer). I am no longer into the heavy distorted loud ear plug wearing thing. Energetic does not have to be loud. I’m living in Kittery but work in Haverhill, MA so jamming/practice location can be anywhere close or in between.
