I love great songs. I have an appreciation for jazz, progressive rock, and speed metal, but that's not my style. I like straight ahead songs that reach people emotionally or make them dance. Country and rock are where I'm most comfortable, and most interested in going.

Influences
Everything I hear. No joke. But as stated above, I am no shredder. I'm into energetic or emotional songs. Some of my favorite music is modern country Top 40, acoustic alt groups like Toad The Wet Sprocket and Counting Crows, metal and classic rock like Whitesnake, Motley Crue, Boston, Queen, Beatles, 90's bands like Stone Temple Pilots, 80's bands like Duran Duran, The Smiths and The Cure, 00's bands like Velvet Revolver and Alter Bridge, right now I'm listening to a lot of old Linda Rondstadt and 10,000 Maniacs, the new Sam Smith, and live stuff from Alter Bridge and Butch Walker.
EQUIPMENT
DW PDP and Pearl drums, Zildjian and Sabian cymbals, Roland electronic drumkit (handy for practice and recording)... an SM58, some mic stands, no other mic's or PA gear.
