Band to Join.

ABOUT

Established drummer looking for an established band that's looking to gig out NOW (a Saturday night cover band type of situation is ideal).

I'm a drummer with 20+ years of experience playing with various rock/metal/punk projects but has the versatility to play different styles, be it Southern rock, country, prog, jazz, etc etc.

Just moved to Texas from NYC and CT where for the past 10 years I've been a fill-in or "gun for hire" for lack of a better word. Did some studio time but the majority of it was live gigs, some original-only bands, some covers. Some stints with bands were longer than others due to their needs at the time, where others were one-off fill-ins - i.e., "our drummer is in jail this weekend, here's the setlist on Monday, see you Saturday night for the show, good luck." And it worked.

Due to professional and family commitments at the moment I'm looking for something not as time consuming. Essentially a group where we all know our pieces, we get together to smooth out the rough edges, and then we get out there and play LIVE. I'm not interested in being in perpetual rehearsal mode in someone's studio or basement as seems to be the case a lot of times.

Pretty easy going guy, I'm a quick learner who is dedicated to learning the songs the way they should be played. Again I'm not interested in rehearsing for months on end. If you're looking to get out there LIVE, I'm your guy. Give me a shout and lets see what we can do!
