I've been singing for so long but I've never done any professional gigs. I was in Footlighter's Theater production of Sweeney Todd, playing Adolfo Pirelli. I like theater, but I'd like to focus on singing my own music. I've tried to collaborate with a few friends but they're not as serious about it as I am. I'm a very creative person who has been stuck in office hell for too long and I want to chase my dreams. I've wanted to be a singer since I was a kid. I write my own songs (sorta. I need help with coming up with melodies but I'm a pretty good lyricist). I don't play any instruments but I love the piano and would love to be able to play it well.
I'm looking for either a band to join or someone who plays an instrument and can help me write songs. I'd like to be in a duo with someone, preferably a woman. I tend to listen to a lot of music by women. Even since growing up...I used to listen to the Judds, The Dixie Chicks, Christina Aguilera.
