We are a rock n' roll band out of Highland, IN by the name of Nyte Lyfe Soul Cleansers and right now we are looking for a new person to smack the skins.
We play a range of material all over the spectrum, but the original material we write is based heavily in classic rock and blues with spritzes of jazz and punk here and there. We do covers from a plethora of genres and time periods as well.
We ARE looking to make it as far as we can as a professional band. If possible we would like to down the road get signed, tour, the whole nine yards. We're not looking to be just another local jam band. If you don't have the time and energy for that, then this isn't the gig for you.
You could be the drummer for us if you:
1. Have your own reliable source of transportation.
2. Have NO drug habits (aside from pot) or heavy alcohol use.
3. Can show up to practice and gigs on time every time.
4. Can follow directions while still being creative.
5. Are willing to and follow through with learning and remembering all of our material.
6. No outstanding warrants or other serious legal problems.
7. Have your own equipment.
8. Can play with a range of dynamics and not just go all Animal on absolutely everything. Even John Bonham knew when to pull back.
9. Can be a team player.
10. Can consistently make it on Sundays at 5 PM to practice with no problem. That is the only time of the week schedule-wise we can all get together, so that isn't budging.
11. Can show up to practice and gigs stone cold sober every time.
12. Can prove if need be that you are at least 21 years old, as we do play in places where alcohol is served.
13. Have no moral/religious quandary with playing in bars and clubs.
14. Are willing to work hard and give it everything you've got.
