I’m a past Los Angeles session musician (from the 80’s & 90’s)who has recorded and worked with VERY well known artists. I’m looking for keyboardist, bass player (stand up a big plus) and singer. Guitarist is possible as well.
Musicians wanted to spread joy to those forgotten and left behind, primarily those in rest homes.
Consequently the music would be standards from the 40’s 50’s , 60’s some light jazz, a few 70;s cuts.. Who knows maybe a few hymns, Songs chosen are specifically to bring back wonderful memories to the elderly . Acts 20:35 “... it’s more blessed to give than receive”

Members Of Band
Looking for a core band of bass / upright bass, keyboards (and or accordion) and singer. Open to different configurations. Acoustic guitar would be great as well. Looking for musicians who can lock in a groove, sing harmonies, and might have enough ear training to "fake" a request here and there.
EQUIPMENT
I’m trying to keep this as simple as possible. Very small venues , almost acoustic sounding. Singer needs microphone and a small PA would be helpful nut not necessary. Keyboards need small amplification.
As mentioned this is to bring joy to the elderly who have had robust lives and now are winding down in years , lonely, and sometimes forgotten. The yearly average visits in senior home is only ONE per year. That is bone crushing to not have anyone visit let alone bring music.
