ABOUT

I am a musician living in Whittier CA looking for other musicians to play and work with. I'm looking for people to talk music theory with and play all manner of stuff, my influences range from Jacob Collier to Tom Waits so I'm looking for a pretty eclectic mix. I'm down to play in weird time signatures and use some crazy chords but I'm not above a great punk rock power chord riff or a sea shanty so Im looking to do a bit of everything. Ideally I'd like to get a band going and start playing shows, I've got several songs written and if we add a few covers we can put a pretty good set together. I work a regular job 4pm-12:30 Monday through Friday, ideally I'm hoping to set up practices on weekends and when we get to a level where we're comfortable playing shows and we can improvise and play off of one another that'll be it. So yeah hit me up at steven.m.j.reimer at G mail dot kom

EQUIPMENT

Custom Warmoth Strat, Epiphone Les Paul Standard Heavily Modded, Heavily Modded Squier Strat, Washburn DD60, I've also got a couple of acoustics, a parlor size, a 12 string and a Gypsy guitar, my amplifier set up is a 200 watt Quilter Tone Block and I use a couple pedals essentially as preamps to get the sound I'm after while the Tone Block makes it as loud as I need it to be, I've gotten some really good results with this set up.
