I have been playing drums for 27 years. My playing style can adapt to rock, blues, country, hip-hop/R&B, funk and their varied forms. My comfort level sits closer to the rock and funk genres but I approach each style as it comes to serve the song. I am not a flashy soloist; I tend to stick with a groove and sit in a pocket. A good relationship with the bass player is key for me.Largely, my playing has been in and around churches but I have played in other venues and recently graduated from EKU with a B.M. in Music Industry. Additional vocal support is available. While in school, I majored in voice and was active with various choirs and the Opera Guild. Click tracks, weekends, and travel are not issues for me.
