ABOUT

Jazz guitarist looking to join with other musicians to play an energized mix of jazz tunes, with interesting arrangements, and originals. Flexible on the specifics, most interested in musicians who want to improvise so each performance of a tune is a special example of that tune. A vocalist who can sing jazz would be great, but also good with playing instrumental music. Have had a world music/middle eastern/Israeli band for about 30 years, Shakshuka, which has played a ton of gigs and recorded three records.

Broad range of jazz influences ... also played rock growing up, studied music composition in college, and worked as a recording engineer for a few years after college, so have been exposed to a broad range of music.

EQUIPMENT

Plenty of guitars, equipment and effects. My main set up is with my Heritage 575, a Princeton amp and a few effects that lean more to reverb/delay than to distortion.
