Veteran drummer since 1967 playing primarily with cover groups. Have played in more than 170 different venues (that I can remember) from clubs, to outdoor events, to private parties, to ball rooms, to concert halls including the stage of The Grand Ole Opry House -- and no, I wasn't worthy. From 3-piece, to 9-piece with horns, to symphony orchestra.

Influences

All things 60s. The Stax and Atlantic Soul and R&B catalogs, Hendrix, Cream, Rascals, Stones, Beatles, Credence, Wrecking Crew, tons of 60s one-hit nuggets (see 60s Frat Rock).

Many things 70s, 80s early 90s other than disco and reggae. From Eagles to MTV groups to Grunge.

Blues, I've played with some real deal bluesmen and am comfortable shuffling all night. Jazz, I enjoy it and aspire to be better at it. (No Cherokee please.) I have gigged with Jazz groups and it worked out fine.

A complete 2500 Watt SLS PA w/ 2 woofer cabs, 2 mid/ribbon cabs and 4 wedge floor monitors.
A comfortable practice space with keyboard, amps and basic guitar, bass rigs.
