I've played in multiple original and cover bands through the years but took a long break while my kids were growing up. Have continued to jam with friends for fun but am looking to get back into an organized band and play some gigs. Mostly interested in gigging at local (Dallas area) bars, just for fun and the love of music. Would like to play with some other experienced musicians who can produce polished, high quality tunes, but who don't take themselves too seriously. I already have a job -- don't need another one!

Influences
Into all subgenres of rock (hard rock, alternative, modern, classic, glam, southern, roots, etc.). All except the really heavy thrash/death metal stuff (Metallica is about as hard as I go).
As for influences, I don't claim to be as good as these guys, but love to try!

Gretsch Catalina Maple 7-piece kit with Zildjian cymbals; not to mention a spacious F-150.
Also have a home jam space large enough for full band practices (and a fully supportive wife). :-)
