Band to Join.

AVAILABLE: One Punk Rocker, Vintage, Gently Used

Hey, kids! Do you have a band? Do you want to start one? Don't miss this one-of-a-kind opportunity! This guitar playing male could be just what your project needs!

:: Guitar playing! I can play lots of different styles, but punk rock is what I came from and what I always seem to come back to. Lead guitar, rhythm guitar, only guitar, don't care.
:: Singing! Backup singing, harmony singing, yelling, whatever you need. I guess I'd sing lead if you really want a slightly pudgy guy who's going gray on the sides fronting your band. Or if you're all stocked up on singers, I'll just STFU and play. Don't care.
:: Writing! I'll bring riffs. I'll bring words. I'll bring whole songs. I'll listen to your songs and add ideas. Or if you're all good on the songwriting front, I'll just STFU and play. Don't care.

:: Rock and Roll! While I come from punk rock, I'm musically literate and fairly versatile, and anything I can get to from standard tuning or close to it is fair game. Speedy stuff, mid-tempo stuff, the occasional sludgy change-up, it's all good. Shouted and melodic vocals are both fine, but "all screaming, all the time" is tedious. Influences should include: all the good punk rock bands and many of the sh*tty ones. Also I like Motorhead, The Pixies, and Clutch.
:: Serious, Reliable Musicians Who Act Like Professionals! No, not really. In fact, please don't be too serious. As for reliable, if your gear and your vehicle are both in good working order, you're all right with me.

:: I'm in my 40s. I don't care how old you are, but if you care how old I am, you should probably know that right off the bat.

If you've made it this far and you think I might be a good fit to join your band or start a new one with you, please feel free to message me. (Hell, feel free to message me even if you don't want me in your band.) Benjamin.t.duffy at the most popular email provider.

There are hundreds of musicians who have influenced me: some famous, some not. But when I plug in and play, I usually just close my eyes and try to channel Dr. Know, Stephen Egerton, Brian Baker, or Bob Mould. Not that I sound much like any of them.
