I have had a passion for the guitar since my teens, but didn't start playing until my 20's, and didn't really apply myself until my late 50's. I am now 66 and a guitarist and founding member of the Elliott Bay Blues Band in Seattle. I play rhythm and lead, and absolutely love to jam and improvise.
I also love to play hard rock and some metal, for example Crazy Train, Enter Sandman, and Highway Star (Deep Purple). I have recently taken quite a liking to John Frusciante's compositions (Chili Peppers). And STP, Alice in Chains, Nirvana, Pearl Jam are all very cool to play. There are too many to list.
I have played a number of gigs now, the most recent of which was at Aurora Borealis in Shoreline for the WA Blues Society.
