Hi there,
My name is Stu and I am looking to start a post rock/sludge project or join a preexisting outfit in the Greater Hartford area. I am primarily a bassist and vocalist and am confident enough to play and sing at the same time...a work in progress but we are getting there.
The sound clips and videos are from my solo project, Wollace Wraith. While it isn't the sound I'm going for with this new project, it will give you an approximation of my skill level and sound engineering ability.
Major influences include Isis (the band), The Ocean Collective, Cult of Luna, Spotlights, and Burst. Ultimately, I am aiming for a sound that merges heavy riffs and clean sections - songs that you can sink into and jam or build on for a while.
