I have played in cover bands (primarily classic rock) over the years, but definitely interested in other types of music. I can play solid rhythm guitar and a bit of bass (plus can blow a decent harp). Not a stellar singer though can harmonize a bit. I am looking for other like minded people with whom to maybe jam/practice once a week and on occasion play out if we get good enough (though this is not my priority). Since moving to LA other than a random jam with friends, I have not played much (hence my posting here). I am open to different sounds as long as it is something fun and stress-free. Yes, got a day job.

Influences
Classic rock is what I was raised on, but I do enjoy ska, reggae, and blues. High energy without the punk or metal edge. The Clash, Green Day, The Strokes, Morcheeba, Coldplay. English Beat, The Ramones are all on my daily dose of music but I do slip into CSN, The Who, Stones, etc as well.
