Late 30s bass and guitar player looking to start or join an original project. Current listening includes Beach House, St Vincent, Radiohead, Warpaint, Interpol and METZ but also fan of "classic" artists (Hendrix, VU, Black Sabbath, Rolling Stones, Doors, Bowie, Eno, Joy Division, The Smiths), film music, and some jazz (Miles, Ornette Coleman, Mingus).
I've played in a number of bands and can share mp3s.
I've got a rehearsal room, plenty of gear and some ideas to get the writing started. Not aiming to tour or make a living making music (I have a day job) - just want to have fun creating music, recording and playing the occasional local show.
No cover bands, instrumental bands or bro-rock bands.

EQUIPMENT
A rehearsal room
A bunch of guitars, basses, amps and pedals plus access to a PA and drum kit (I rent a rehearsal studio with a close friend who is very kind about sharing his toys). Also have a couple of synths that I play very poorly.
Also have a truck to move all this stuff.
