SEEKINGBand to Join, Vocalist, Rhythm Guitar, Lead Guitar, Drums, Bass Guitar.
I really would love to be in a band. I'm currently in college attending Purdue University and am at home during the summer, winter and spring breaks in Naperville, IL near Chicago.
I would totally wanna join or make a fu*king punk band. I just don't know many people who like the music I like / play that have an instrument. I have been on the verge of creating a band, just of me and my drums-playing-occasionally brother, but have never done it. I have recording equipment and have some experience recording, and would be okay at editing.
I love punk, and punk rock right now, and would want to play that sort of stuff, with ska and mix of hardcore optional. Melodic sh*t! But I also have liked in the past, and would play: pop punk, alternative rock, screamo, post-hardcore, and am completely open to try any sort of rock including indie, etc anything.

I threw this song together very quickly... I know you can't hear the vocals too well, I'm working on it. Lyrics: Why do you have to be so strict? Don't you have drug dealers to catch? I thought cops were for the people Not pety fines and hypocratic creeprs I should be able to jay walk whenever I want Because you're never out there Looking for drugs Cities' where the shit goes down Robberies gang-banging druggie clowns So there's crooked cops and mayors Ranking in all the cash You should feel like shitting bricks For all those times you've been had But the important thing is to suck It up and remember to take a stand Super uber suburban troopers Getting the state money while being douches Super uber suburban troopers Driving teenagers home for breaking curfew Super corrupted city troopers Power positions where they don't belong Super corrupted city troopers Where has their alliegence gone? Corrupted on the border too Building fortress walls Authoritative power trips Killing millions of Mexican border jumpers just for kicks How can someone be that sick? Doesn't matter what we say They do what they want anyway Doesn't matter what we say They do what they want anyway They do what they want anyway They do what they want anyway Doesn't matter what we say They do what they want anyway Super uber suburban troopers Getting the state money while being douches Super uber suburban troopers Driving teenagers home for breaking curfew Stupid loser suburban douche bags Don't pull me over, I only threw out my pop! Stupid loser suburban douche bags And you once thought you'd like to be a cop?
