9D Proof is made up of four musicians, local to central Wi. Carrying over ninety years of combined instrumental and vocal experience with them, and hundreds of hours of on-stage perfomances, they strive to keep a playlist comprised of an ecclectic list of songs not commonly heard by the vast numbers of cover bands. The songs you know so well but are not 'over played'. When you hear the song you say, "I know that song! I remember when...."
We are a locally popular band established in Oct of 2010 and like most bands has seen it's changes in members along the way, but still makes forward progress to committ to deliver a quality sound with whomever we play with.

Influences
There are so many kinds of music that you could find influencial roots in that it would be unfair to name any specifics, given the range of age and tastes amongst our band members.
Members Of Band
We are typically a four piece band with a sound/light person, Then there is me, The behind the scenes guy, I manage the band by taking care of all the booking,advertising, collecting the pay checks and distributing the money equally, tansporting equipment/members to and from each show, set up and tear down, photography and video... basically I do whatever it takes to keep the band together and getting everyone/everything home safe to play the next gig and make more $.
I've found I love the challenge of getting to the next level!... whatever that may be....

EQUIPMENT
Currently using 16 channel Yamaha mixer, may be updating soon to at least 24 channel to allow more room for drum mics and personal monitors, rack gear consists of equalizers for both on stage and front of house as well as GTD amps for both also. We have 4 15" JBL speakers (two for subs and 2 for mids/highs ,100ft and 50ft 12 gauge speakon speaker cords, 100ft snake, keyboard, 1960's Rogers 5pc drum set with 7pc Nady drum mic kit.... many more items including 2 full light racks and front of stage lights with programmer to make up full stage gear.
