Looking to put together a group that can really shine with vocal harmonies and musicianship. My vision is to share lead vocals with a female singer as well as male with either or both playing instruments. I would sing lead as well as play auxiliary percussion. I'm young at heart so I'm open to new things. No ego or longing to control.
I'm really hoping to avoid a lot of cliché type songs. I want to give people music that they don't hear bands playing all the time.
I'd love to be working with fun, energetic, easy going people that appreciate everyone's ideas and interests. There are many ways of weaving all different genres together, and it's fun to figure out how to create what you want. I envision mixtures of 90s rock, a few rock/pop tunes from 70s/80s, newer music(which I need to familiarize with more), some cool R&B here and there if it fits. Just no country, or overplayed pop like Maroon 5.
I don't necessarily need to be gigging all the time. A few times a month during nicer times of year is good. There's a whole lot to talk about and consider, so message me and we can cover whatever else we need to.
