The Swamp Crawlers

Bass Guitar.

Our band is called the Swamp Crawlers and our bass player just left due to time constraints. We play an eclectic mix of soul, 60's R&B, a dash of rockabilly, a bit of twang, and alt country. We have guitar/vocals, keys/vocals and drums/vocals and currently practice in Old Bridge since it is centrally located among the 3 players in group. Our age range is 50-ish. We've gigged out and are looking for a bass player who enjoys this sort of music. We practice once a week. Look forward to hearing from you.

Delbert McClinton, James Carr, The Black Keys, Lazy Lester, Tab Benoit, The Ventures, The Meters, Ernie K Doe, Booker T. and The MGs, roots alt country, Stax records, early Atlantic records, XM radio's The Underground Garage and Outlaw Country. We also want to throw some more contemporary or recognizable songs in there but always in an unpredictable way. We like throwing curve balls and playing some originals as well as more contemporary stuff too. Thanks for your interest.
