Szelrozsa plays gypsy, eastern european, balkan, klezmer music. Many loud dance tunes and quieter songs.
We were formed 2 years ago, members come and go, and would like to find someone who would be crazy enough to play this kind of music, and would love to do it. We always had a lot of fun getting people to dance and going crazy. That's the best.
We performed in many different places like The Falcon, Hudson Music Fest, Rosendale Cafe, Bard, Sinterklaas in Rhinebeck, also in synagoges, schools, churches, flea markets, clubs, restaurants, weddings and private parties.
I sing, play recorders, violin and tambourine. I also would like to form a more energetic band, like Frenchy and the Punk or Fishtank Ensemble with a cabare style performance.
