ABOUT

The Only Name Left is a alternative/funk/pop/rock band that features a wide range of musical techniques. The band brings Memphis and the world a new flavor of sound that is certain to change the scene one show at a time.

We are a local band seeking a drummer and guitarist who can contribute back up vocals.
We play mostly rock music, have bass, vocals, and keys currently, and have a list of original songs with more on the way, and with your help many more to come! There's plenty of room to develop what we have, but we're not looking for someone to come in and run stuff. Due to constrictions on space for a drummer, it's recommended to have your own space for that.

Listed below are the general requirements:

-- Age: 21-28
-- Must be able to write original parts
-- Must have your own transportation
-- MUST BE COMMITTED!

Guitarist: Have your own gear, performance ready. Female bgv+
Drummer: You absolutely need a mobile set.

Influences

Music that comes from emotionally constructive design. The things in life that shape us and make us who we are, are reflected in our music through tones, voice, and dynamic. A lot of our favorite music comes from various places and has turned our songs in a unique direction that is honestly one of the hardest to describe.

Among some of the major influences are:
Type O Negative, Avenged Sevenfold, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Morris Day and the Time, The Gap Band, Ninja Sex Party, TWRP, and soundtracks across the gaming world.
