Influences
Man, I wanted to pick more than 4 genres! I grew up in the punk/ska scene in NJ. I’ve always loved funk. In CA I joined a folk band. After that I dabbled in an Irish band. Then I formed a band called Songs Hotbox Harry Taught Us. We’ve played together for 10 years. We mostly do 50s & 60s rock and roll, country, and rockabilly like Wanda Jackson, George Jones, Elvis, etc. I love playing a wide range of music like the Raincoats, Pfunk, Prince, B5s, Tom Petty, The Beatles, The Clash, Patsy Cline, The Meters…really, anything that gets people out of their seats and dancing!
