ABOUT

I was born and raised in Buffalo, NY. I had a few failed attempts at bands in high school. After High School I moved to Tempe, AZ. I started going to school and setting my life up for a family and career. Never-the-less, as I believe, fate would weave into my destiny to get back into music. I was in and out of a couple bands for a year and a half, until I came accross an incredible mentor and friend, Kipp McLeod. He is one of the most talented musicians I have ever worked with. He had the technical aspect and experience of band mechanics and song writing. I had the charisma and a desire to rock out!! We started writing songs together as the core members of a group we called TOKE. Those were some crazy times. I started to learn how to play the guitar during that time. While TOKE was together, we changed drummers and bass players a couple times, but managed to keep rocking thru the unstable times. For about 4 years we had written over 20 songs, and performed regularly throughtout Phoenix, Tempe, and Mesa. Opportunities didn't open up for us as a band, and circumstances in our lives, eventually tore TOKE apart. I took my dreams and limited knowledge of the guitar to L.A., where I currently reside in Pasadena, where I have been playing solo acoustic acts around Pasadena, Tarzana, North Hollywood, Silverlake, etc. Ideally I would still like to be joined with a band and resume my role as the Lead vocals and front man of the band. My talent and strengths are my performance, charisma, lyrics, and energy. The music you are listening to on my page, except for broke down, was written and played by me. Broke Down, was a TOKE song that was written by both Kipp and Me. He is also the Guitarest, both rhythm and lead, and the bassist. Drums were played by a friend that I met out here, Keith from oedipus. At any rate, I hope you enjoy what you hear. I would like to meet: either a band that would like to work with me as a lead vocalist and front man, or musicians that would like to join me and help me to make the musical part of my songs better, and continue to write new music from there. I am an easy person to get along with, I am teachable when it comes to new styles and new ideas. If you are a band looking to bring on a front man, this is important. I am loyal to my band, dedicated to practice, performance, and whatever is required of me in order to help the band succeed.
