ABOUT

Unnamed project is in search of 2 self-motivated professional guitar players. Preferably, one lead and one rhythm player to be a permanent member who can reside anywhere in the United States. We are based in the Chicagoland area so some travel will need to happen if accepted. This band has an artist with Billboard Top 40 singles and members that have won multiple Los Angeles Music Awards as well as various other professional accolades/endorsements. The musical style of this project focuses on metal - we also want to add djent, pop-punk, hard rock, nu metal, and metalcore.

For this project we are looking for the following mandatory skills:
-Must be able to play through and utilize all digital amps (Kemper, Axe FX, Neural DSP, VST DI, Helix) since we are running in-ear monitoring and have a small compact setup
-Must be able to write/perform in tunings ranging from drop C to drop F. This will all be based on the vocal melody for each song. The transpose feature will be utilized on the digital amps for this
-Must be able to use in-ear monitors for shows and rehearsals
-Must be able to have recording capabilities from your home setup and be self-motivated to record and send ideas via PCloud

Rehearsals will be based in the Chicagoland area and equipment is available for use (guitars, X32, several wireless packs, Helix, Kemper, Neural DSP, and various VSTs from DI). We also utilize Ableton for recording and live purposes. Our goal is to have fully automated DMX lighting and fully automated amp settings controlled by MIDI. Ableton is not a requirement, and any DAW will be sufficient if you have home recording capabilities and have experience in sending DI guitar tracks.
Also, we are a DIY band, so we try to keep tasks and projects within the group.
