ABOUT

Currently working with Fuzzbolt, check our homepage under that name. Below is my original post prior to focusing with Fuzzbolt. Not sure if I have the bandwidth for 2 musical projects, but never say never. Ping me to see.

Bassist available for casual but "focused project". A casual situation would be to rehearse once or every other week, gig once or every other month. The bandwidth to do more is available but it would depend on the musicians and material. tngpowerten at pacbell which is a net.

Looking for seasoned, experienced, and like minded musician to make GREAT music, and avoiding gig burn out.

Not looking for jam sessions.

Prepared rehearsals a MUST: to many diversions when guys playing riffs to practice between working on material or spending an hour to get their gear to sound right.

Played since the late 70's in various bands in San Francisco. I've done it all except pure country or bluegrass, although I love ALL musical genres. Most of my longer working band situations were blues/r&b and rock, but did almost everything else at one time or another.

Latest project is with seasoned musicians on challenging hard rock material (Led Zeppelin, Chickenfoot, Van Halen, Foo Fighters, Velvet Revolver, etc..)

While I have extremely wide tastes in genres, if there's "Talking Heads" material involved I would loved to be involved.

First track on my profile is a Big Earl original, "Someday You'll Leave Me". A delay in our flight at SFO, our songwriter pulled out this little gem and was looking for a rhythm for it. Pulled out our guitars, suggested a few things and in about 20 minutes completed what the song would become.
