Frostbite has been making heaterz for five years and hasn't cooled down yet. Most would consider her flamboyant signature style as a luxury but for her it a necessity not to over heat, No wonder this Cutie wears with all that ice.This mogul in the making has started her journey in the Performing Arts as a professional ballet/modern dancer. Her passion for dance and Hip Hop culture led her to the entertainment business, as a Hip hop Dancer/Choreographer. As time progressed she discovered her love for creating the great music she once danced to in the recording studio. When asked, how did you discover production, Frostbite states " I was in the studio for about 8 hours doing nothing while a friend of mine was recording a song. I got curious and started asking questions about the equipment. I started hitting pads, pushing buttons, turning knobs and one thing led to another as they say. I declared that day, I wanna become a Record Mogul."
Frostbite co- produced her first commercial track with Mr Fingaz for Hip Hop recording artist Busta Rhymes on the album "It ain't safe no more" song title "HOP" which went gold selling over 500,000 units. She also produced for Hip Hop artist Juelz Santana of Dipset, Def Jam Records on the mix tape album "Back like Cook, Coke, Crack" promoting his latest release of "What the game been missing," which contributed to records sales of 500,000 copies sold.
Frostbite credits most of her skills from all the musician and producer friends who were more than willing to teach her the tricks of the trade. Her influences are Fred & Rodney Jerkins, Timbaland, Just Blaze, and Mr. Fingaz. Her choice of weapon is the MPC 2000, and she is ready to put the sexy in beat making. Her goals of becoming a power house in the business led her start expanding her knowledge of music in multiple genres, developing acts and creating her own record label. Frostbite plans to bring women in production to the forefront and become the most respected and recognizable record mogul ever lived. Feel the Bite!
T.Brown
Recording artist Mi Ka now know as T.Brown is that rare performer who is as strong a singer as she is a rapper, a dancer who writes original songs and performs them like no other, and on top of all that a talented model and actor. Hard to believe you could pack so much talent into her slim 5? 1? frame.
T. Brown was born in Brooklyn as Tamika Brown, and spent summers in St. Louis. From this she derives her Midwestern heart and Brooklyn soul. And all that flying back and forth as a child would prepare her well for life as an internationally touring performer. Mi Ka?s ambitions were nurtured at Fiorello LaGuardia High School, better known as the ?FAME? school, where she studied dance from a variety of perspectives, including ballet, modern, African, jazz, and others. But her true passion has always been hip-hop, and this led her to perform extensively as a backup dancer on tours and in videos in support of today's
recording artists.
After high school, Mi Ka moved permanently to the south side of St. Louis, where she started to concentrate on rhyming and integrating melodic vocals into the songs she was starting to write. The combination is sometimes hip-hop with an R&B flare, and other times R&B with a dash of hip-hop. If you took Missy Elliot?s creativity, Busta Rhymes? stage presence, Ludacris? personality on the tracks, then mixed in a little of Jay-Z and Nelly?s swagger, you'd start to get a picture of what T. Brown has to offer her audience. But even these comparisons don't begin to capture what is a truly unique performance experience.
You'll recognize her by her trademark body suit look, a kind of sexy, modern take on Cameo. She sports couture styles, with especial fondness for the designs of Gianfranco Ferre, Kai Milla and Alexander McQueen. T. Brown attitude is humble, and her style is all her own.
