Band to Join, Drums, Other Percussion, Keyboard.

I am playing in an (mostly) 80's-90's alternative band with a female lead singer. Nothing very heavy. I like intelligent, catchy, melody and hook-heavy but slightly obtuse tunes that you may not have heard before but are easy to like. Lots of major chords but we'll throw some sevenths and weird chords in to mix it up. We've played a few parties and one proper gig but at present we're mostly basement denizens. We're thinking about doing some open mike nights and, with those under our belts, maybe some actual gigs. Always on the lookout for musicians who could complement our lineup, especially in the drums and keys department. If you play a unique instrument like a accordion, cajon, etc. by all means give me a call.

We are very easy going. We are doing this primarily for the joy of playing, and will definitely plan to play at parties and non-profit events, but we would not be opposed to paid gigs if the right opportunities come along.

FYI, the band members are in their 40's and 50's but we think young.
