The below description of my previous group from when I was in Baltimore, gives you a good idea of what I'm looking to get into.
Though I want to do something a little more upbeat with some afro funk influence this time around. I favor soulful female fronted vocals. But I'm not limited to that. I've supported southern folk and blues and enjoy that as well. Anything dynamic. creative and honest I'm into.
The genre's offered to select from don't give the best choices to describe our sound. We are an instrumental improv group that blends elements of ambient, classical, jazz, jam band, electronics, post rock and blues into a fusion that is about 50% ambient and jazzy and 50% more energetic and groove oriented.
